Before You Start
System Requirements
- Autodesk Revit 2025 or later (Revit LT acceptable)
- Windows PC (Mac requires dual OS with Windows)
- Any Revit version 2021+ will work
Get Revit Free (Students Only)
Students at colleges/universities taking Revit courses get a free 1-year license:
- Visit: autodesk.com/education/home
- Sign up with your school's .EDU email address
- Download and install

- AutoCAD experience preferred (but not required)
Getting Started Guide
Step 1: Install & Test RevitDownload, install, and test Revit 2025+ before starting the course.
Step 2: Follow the Learning ProcessFor each class:
- Download and unzip course files (right-click and choose EXTRACT)
- Watch class recording(s)
- Start a new Revit file using the default template (first class only)
- Follow along with the video
- Build your own version of the project
- Open and review the revit project file provided in each class
- Once a class is completed, copy your Revit file into the next class folder and repeat steps 4-6
